In pursuit of Rubik’s Cube happyness

By | December 16, 2006

Watched this segment on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 this morning where a guy named Tyson attempted to solve the Rubik’s Cube blindfolded on live television. While he didn’t manage to accomplish the feat (he’s got three cubes incorrect), I thought his memory and manoeuvring were pretty awesome.

Here’s a video where he actually did it:

Tyson, if you can remember, was one of the participants in the reality TV series “Beauty and the Geek 2”. He and his younger brother, Toby, were hired as consultants to teach Will Smith how to solve a Rubik’s Cube in two minutes in the upcoming movie “The Pursuit of Happyness”.

You can check out his blog to learn how to solve the Rubik’s Cube yourself.
