The Japanese are not only capable of coming up with crazy inventions, they also have a weird taste for food. Just when you thought Nyotaimori (the Japanese art of eating dead, uncooked fish off of a naked woman’s body) is bad enough, along comes another way of eating that’s fraught with moral compunctions of cannibalism.

Hannibal the Cannibal would have been proud 1In this banquet of cannibalism, a full-sized, artificial female body (naked, of course) is made of food and placed on the table. The idea is to carve a nice gory hole in her side and devour the bloody intestines and organs inside. Amazingly (or should it be predictably?), the body will bleed as you cut it. Everything is edible, or so it seems.

Now, if you’re in Japan and you’re invited to such a feast, what would you do?
